Our Teaching
Materials Archive

Welcome!

This website is exactly what it says on the packaging: an archive that collects materials we could teach from. And who are we? We consist of Dr. Rebecca Rowe and any of her students interested in teaching. If you've consented to share your work, it's on here! If not, that's fine, too. This website is still here for you to get ideas from.

Because that's the whole idea: no teacher goes it alone. This website is here for when you need some inspiration. Teaching is all about community, about giving each other a helping hand so we don't have to keep reinventing the wheel each time we teach texts that have been taught before (or even when we teach texts that have never been taught before but use those texts to teach things that have been done before). Even if some of you have never met each other in real life, you can still benefit from the community of Dr. Rowe's students by perusing this website and learning from and inspiring each other.

The website is broken down by the different kinds of materials you might want to find (lesson planning, long-term planning, assignment prompts, and presentations that you might be able to use in class or at least draw ideas from). Then, each page is broken down by grade. Plus, I have a page where I've added some extra resources, just for fun.

This archive is constantly getting new materials, so keep checking back for more inspiration!
